As a self respecting adventurer, you have made sure to model yourself on those who have boldly adventured before you, those whom you love and respect. For instance, you have watched every series of 'MacGyver' several times over, studying the arts of the master - ingenuity; resourcefulness; rugged good looks. In these respects, you are but a padawan, whilst the dashing and improbably inventive MacGyver remains the Jedi, aloof, intangible and brilliant. Perhaps, one day, you will prove yourself worthy of such a class of adventurer. In the meantime, you practice gazing curiously and handsomely at the bottle in your hand, envisaging its multitude of alternative uses that no-one else had thought of before. Perhaps it may be used to contain some sort of liquid? Might it be a means of delivering a written plea for help from a distant island? Or - and this is way out of the left field here - could it serve as some kind of impromptu weapon? The possibilities are endless!
Oh, Superman is pretty cool too, so you like to wear his pants. At the crucial moment, you envisage yourself tearing off your overgarments in a fit of righteous indignation to reveal the emblem of muscular crimefighter emblazoned across your nether regions, causing your enemies to turn and flee before your furious justice. Imbued with the power of the original superhero, they cannot hope to escape the reckoning that you bring!
You decide that right now isn't exactly the right moment for all that, and because it's a bit chilly you decide against it for the time being.
The figure on the horizon is drawing nearer...
