Ladies man was kicked today by vedaras without a warn and a member saw him before he was kicked and said he was doing nothing. later today he was kicked again by 27 poker again without a warn and was for no reason. i banned him because he had 3 kicks for griefing, but unbanned him later considering it was a kick that shouldn't have been done at the time. he was later kicked by 27poker. i have a picture of 27pokers kick (it was just out of the picture). i probably should not have threatened 27poker to get an op to demote but i felt kinda sorry for the guy because a false kick and a ban because of that false kick is enough for one day.



The picture cut off the text idk why so maybe someone with ftp access can check the logs, they should reveal what happened it occured just before 23:17 gmt

Kicks can be due to the anti-grief protection bugging out, inactivity - don't ban people "on sight" if you see they have 3+ kicks. With 3+ kicks they are out of the promotion loop anyways, so you don't need to worry about them UNLESS they start griefing again.

Nickinack got promoted to member with 3 kicks on the 24th while he received his 3rd kick on on the 22nd.

He's banned now, but I think there's a glitch in the autorank system then.

Well, actually 3 kicks is the ceiling, so it's more like 4+ kicks but I like to mislead people about our autoranking system. :-P

When i see people get kicked for being afk or suspected griefing it doesn't count toward the kick count. They have to be actually be kicked by a player. i don't know who made the 3 kick ban but i see people banning for that so i ban for that two. next time i see an afk person i will get some pictures for you of there kick count before and after

I'm pretty sure the AFK autokicks do not count towards the general number a person has.

Lim so if they don't count towards kick count do we ban at 3 kicks? also if they get kicked come back on get kicked come back on get kicked then do we ban ?

If they keep rejoining then just ban. But I mean if a player has had his/her last kick like a month ago. I think fragmer is also implementing a "time since last kick" info field and such.

there is a time since last kick. in the info, it has "kicked x days ago by player y for reason z"
of course people like a month+ ago dont have this. im guessing it was added with the autorank.

if i see someone who was griefing, i kick them and then do a /info. Sometimes their info looks fine. So i think "maybe it wasnt purposefully (somehow), or they were deleting their own build. If their build/destroy ratio is like 1000:8000 and they have 3 kicks, im ganna ban. i use the 3 kicks thing more as a "warning this guys been kick three times, check him out" kinda thing.
