There was some holes and random bits sticking out, blocks left around, real small damage. That's way off the point though, it's not what I'm annoyed about. It was total disrespect, and a poor example. I was prevented from working on my town, then when I tried to go work on my house, someone tp'd me back anyway, even though I toggled my tp. The second time round I was trying to protest people were trying to kill me, I just had to leave, I was far too worked up about it. It was 3am, and I came on to chill, I arrive to find, what I saw, my initial impression, lots of grief, people jumping around, fire etc. of course at first I thought it was spite or something. So regrettably "please leave my town, so I can build here" wasn't the first words that jumped into my head :/

Seeing reload's town hasn't helped my view on all this, my towns hunky dory, his has actually been griefed, aperture didnt deserve messing with either, in all cases the repairs fell short of the mark.

What bothers me haf is that you seem to think that this all ok, and that I'm getting worked up over nothing, not even a "well ok we were only having fun, but in hindsight I can see how it's upset people, and what it has caused, probaby not such a hot idea after all"

The grief reload is finding in his town wasn't us. The only thing we broke was his fountain, and for that I am truly sorry.

Yes but what happened to reloads town besides the fountain and dread's castle, was probably an indirect result of what you guys did, holding a controlled grief party was never a good idea, some people obviously took it too far.
I could only wish I was that rational, besides I was also wound up by the fact I was being ignored. My understanding to the situation was totally different, shouting at people to get out was pretty apt considering how I interpretted what was going on.

So ok then, if what you guys did was bang on correct, and I'm just being pedantic over some light griefing, can we expect this to be a regular occurance? and what measures should we take to ensure there's less damage?

Ok, i am neutral here. Junco might be overreacting, but I know damn well if you guys did that to my city in progress, i would be pissed. I would react no differently than junco did to be honest. Maybe a loittle worse because I do have an anger problem Just leave other's stuff alone in my opinion.

Junco, this mayyyy have been my fault. For that I appologize. I originally teleported to your town, well warped, to see if you had anymore dirt whch you had said i could use before. There was none, so i took nothing. However, there were TONS of arrows (duped obviously by the recent arrow bug) So I said kind of jokingly in chat "Guys are these duped? xD" Hit tp'ed to me and agreed it was dupe. Soon, tons of other people began teleporting and dicking around. While hit was burning the arrows, some idiot (i honestly dont know who) placed water, which upturned your rails. I gatherd a few, put them back, and the rest that i had which i didnt know where they went, i put back into your chests. I dont know how many rails or anything else was stolen or burned because there were TONS of people there. Including some members. I wasnt aware that i would bring so many damned people, so im sorry. I did, however leave when we were done.

If anyone deserved an apology, its reload for his fountain, and I am sorry that it was damaged. It never should have spread into reload's village.
This is why I locked the topic. Don't compare lavaspleef to TnT grief.

The damage done in both cases was trivial and easily fixed. I wasn't on when the incident in reload's village started, so I really don't know what the original state of the fountain was, but it looks like its been repaired.

Could we have handled the situation better? Of course.

I don't know why people carried this on outside of my town though. I just see it as grief really, excuses and labels wont convince me otherwise.

It is mainly an empty plain of sand, that doesn't mean it didn't take alot of time and effort to put down, it was all just hills and grass before. Besides looking back, I might of had a build plot set, and that seems to be gone, and I dont have the measurements I had based on the test on freebuild anymore.

Once again its not about the damage. I wasn't even going to say anything, I just thought "what dicks" and left it as that, then I seen that you guys struck aperture as well, that changed my atittude and hearing about reload's town chnaged it further.

Ok, I told myself I wouldnt get into this further besides saying what a terrible stupid idea it was to hold it in someones town, but now you guys are just bashing Haf.

Was this party incredibly fun? Apparently, I wasnt there.
Was it an incredibly stupid idea to hold it in someone elses town? Yes.
Was cuboiding just for shit and giggles abuse of rank? Arguably yes.
Was this party causing grief? Yes, but it was very minor and it got (mostly) repaired.
Was Hafnium the sole cause and perpetrator as this topic seems to suggest? FUCK NO.

The reason I think that you're getting flak haf is that you're like not just a trustee, you've been sort of appointed to over see things while lim worries about admin stuff. If you mess around, and so do other red names, people are going to follow suit, and likely wont do so as responsibly as yourself would. Messing with peoples stuff just because you and others can will have a negative effect.

I'm bangin' on about it all this 'cause I don't want this to be deemed as acceptable behavior for staff, and I don't want it to happen again, but atm it just seems like nothing really happened in some people's opinions.

I was involved in this but as i am a member, i couldnt do much. I had no lava or water, using only what people threw at me. And when i died, i came back and could do nothing, i spent most of the time running round away from people. I was on mumble so i sort of got dragged n because they were all talking about it.
I am sorry from me, and hopefully everyone involved for what we did. If it is done again it needs to be done on te open flat, i dont see any reason it needs to be done in a city.

In no way is blowing up 200 TNT (in which the only way to '/undo' it would be to reload a map from before the explosion) ANYTHING like a few harmless cuboids and lava blocks. Which were REMOVED, no harm done there. And i apologize for the few random blocks u may have had the burden of deleting junco.


Junco i was there when we were having fun in your 'town' and i say that like so because its a flat peice of land covered in sand. We did no permanent damage, and when u signed in and had issues with it, we moved. May have rushed us, which may be why there could have been a Few random blocks in random places. But hafnium is hardly to blame, as am i, the cuboids we did to trap hit_girl were ALL undone. Theres no harm in that, trying to make it seem like it caused you such distress is just a personal attack on hafnium, me, and anyone else who was involved.
Back to the personal attack bit. Do i sense jealousy? no point trying to bring hafnium down because he got to where you want to be.
This entire topic is ridiculous. At MOST junco probably had like 10 blocks to remove? not including any lava i would guess, because i was one of the last to leave. Making sure that the place was clean before doing so.

But truly the only 'house grief'i saw when i came to the town was Dreadniah removing his home. Also it goes from 'all the trees' or 'a ton of trees' to ONE tree. Way to exaggerate.. More immaturity.
