well it seems like its pretty close to the right scale, and as this was made for valve, so they probably got the 3d model proportions and just applied real world units



this is the best image i can find that shows scale, and although its a little in the foreground, it reaches above the groin of the engy, who is typically the same scale as a shortish man. But maybe they exaggerated the size a little bit just so it would be more of a show piece in the lobby
