I have no idea what to make of this Herobrine thing, although unlikely, and so easy for someone to stage a hoax, I've seen some fairly convincing videos, especially where it's happened online, like Orc's pic is interesting. Though it'd be quite easy to stage that I'd imagine.

The only reason I wouldn't call it total bullshit is that, would it really be so hard for Notch to put Herobrine in the game, it'd be no big surprise, he may not be the worlds #1 programmer, but he's great with concept, and this seems like something he'd cook up.

Basically the rest of the photo is fine art grade, and Slenderman is pixel-art grade (not that I don't like pixel-art), meaning they obviously are not the same.

That said, blurring and pixelating are a hoax artist's friend, because it'll conceal obvious differences between the scene and the hoax object. The problem is that it's really easy to overdo.
