The latest update totally screwed singleplayer for me. More lag than ever. Is anyone else with a mac experiencing the same?

Damn it.. I have a macbook pro, so it should atleast perform as good or better than your macbook >_<.

Sen, just delete everything in whatever folder it's been installed to and download minecraft.exe again. Should work.

I have my MacBook Pro and it works fine.
PS: minecraft is saved in (insert user here)/Library/Application Support/Minecraft

I did that, but it's still a lot choppier than the previous version. Does anyone know how I could possibly install previous updates? I guess that's probably illegal though :(.

Its like that for everyone (LOLNOTCH)
You could try to find a older version of minecraft.jar though and place it in the folder where the new one is and play offline.
Note: you will not be able to play multiplayer with an old minecraft.jar and distribution of minecraft.jar is illegal.
