I would love to come on shoot! Sorry for the late reply , i am was holding out because I just recently purchased a macbook pro for my editing and am hoping to buy a camera soon. Wanted to wait to see if I could get one quickly.
So at the moment I am not in possession of a camera.
I spent a year as a cameraman, sound operator at several weddings and documentaries with Dreamweave productions prior to university. I also was a secondary editor for that year as well.
I have experience mainly with mini dv cameras, specifically canon z1 and z2, panasonic dvc30 and dvx100, and sony z1, ill give full links to them if you want but I'm sure you know them.
My group and I recently shot a drama in portland using a 550d with a 15mm lens i think, I had a play around on it but with a 16gb memory card giving 40 mins HD footage and the fact that the camera can only film for 12 minutes continuously before it overheats, I still choose my mini dv camcorders
So i have been around a few different cameras, I would say I excel as a handycam rather than tripod and I also have taught myself to work well under pressure and gather excellent shot first time from weddings.
I have specialised in sound, editing and production managing for my second year, I felt I had good enough experience in camera to not need the specialism from the university but whether that is your opinion, we shall see.
So basically I am confident in all roles, I can borrow kit from my peers if I don't have a new camera in time.
This is probably all over the place as I have just got given little big planet 2 and I'm very excited to play it lol
I dont expect large roles, experience is what I'm looking for, as i want to work on music videos and advertisements as my career.
I would welcome anything you can bring me too.
