You're talking about it like it's something in the past, unattainable. The only thing separating your memories from the now that we live in now is a few clicks with your mouse.
exactly
and it's not even like this was years and years ago. the last time i saw a tf2 server filled wall to wall with SpA's wasn't summer 2009 - it was, at the earliest, October. just a few months ago! thinking about it, it's a few months in which the game has changed
alot (it's probably rose-tinted glasses, but i think that the amount of unlocks is definitely retracting from the game's magic), but it's only a little while nonetheless. people will have moved on, can't say i blame em, but y'all should drop in the dodgeball server for some quality madness at some point.
i can't say if the same goes for l4d, as i never picked up l4d2. probably because i had a paper round and so valued an early night

but regardless of the rage, the difficulty in getting 8 people together (which considering the frequency of 5-person LoL matches probably isn't that big a deal) and the infamous 'lobby game', brilliant times were had in l4d. summer's comin round and i'm gettin the itch to be really shit at video games again. 2 questions then; left 4 dead classic or sequel, and who else is up for it?
