Just bought Pokémon Black. Loving it.

SO I HERD U LIEK BUTTERDUDE! I don't really know the new games, only played it until Fire Red I think. I would like to try Heart Gold, though, but I'm not buying NDS for just one game.

I find the beasts oddly intriguing and recently played through pokemon diamond.
I like the the creepy pokemons the best, slugma is so cuddly :>

The games are simple and fun, don't see why there is any hate towards it, it's what I want from a portable game. A bit of casual gaming time!

Pokemon is cool and you know it.

There's however a few things I dislike:

*)The games are basically always the same, the core mechanics didn't change once.
*)The new Pokemon start to look less and less like Pokemon - more like creatures from a random American comic.
*)It's way too easy, trainer battles are a fucking joke and there's never the need to get extra levels. I once tried doing a low level run because of this on fire red and it really became a challenge around the 4th gym leader. I stopped it though because I couldn't figure out how to beat the 6th one. If anyone wants to have a go at it, here are my rules:

.)No Exp from random encounters (you may capture wild Pokemon of course, but flee from them otherwise)
.)Trainer battles are permitted, but try to keep the level of your Pokemon as low as possible (the way I did it was only fighting the necessary trainers at first, then a few more if i couldn't beat the next gym leader with whatever tactic i came up with. It's up to you how strict you handle this). However, re-challenging trainers is not allowed at all.
.)For boss battles, the level of the pkmn with the highest level on your team must not be higher than the lowest level of the pkmn with lowest level of your enemy (boss battles are your rival, Giovanni, the gymleaders and the pkmn league)
.)No legendaries
.)No breeding
.)No trading (not even for evolutions)
.)No rare candies
.)No glitches (eg the glitch in r/b/y that allowed you to get a low level gyarados very early or the missingno glitch to get lots of items)
