Why not?

It's a popular, well selling game that appeals to a lot of people.
I wouldn't know what they would actually show (apart from maybe announcements about future content) or what anyone would do there, but I'm sure plenty of people would have a good time there.
$100 for a con about one game seems a bit steep though, I can't imagine how they'd fill two days with stuff related to only Minecraft (and maybe that new 'Scrolls' game).
