Death Note is brilliant 37-ish Episode Anime.
Unlike most animes that have fighting with swords, magic, what have you
Death Note focuses on battles of wit.

I highly recommend this series to everyone,
just watch the first 2 episodes and prepare to get hooked.

Only problem, especially at the begining, the music is very loud at some parts and makes it difficult to hear what is being said.

Seen it :). It's pretty good indeed, its like.. quite old aswell! Was way ahead of its time. But to the point, I could recommend this to ppl who like anime. If ur not into anime, u probably wont like it :roll:

First season is pure gold! but I couldn't finish the second season (didn't watch last 2 episodes) cause the whole thing just became bullshit stupid :l It'd be better if they just stopped after the first season imho ^^ but a definite must watch if you watch anime :D

I don't really watch anime at all, but I watched all of these at my friends and thought they were great.
But it's not really something you should watch if you don't pay attention to all of it, it becomes pretty trippy :D
I would recommend it.

Yeah I watched the live action, and I was quite impressed with the concept and plot, so I've been meaning to watch the anime. I'm one of those people can't stand the magic and swords :evil:

Aha old indeed, but still my 2nd favorite anime. The plot is just great and yes, you should just finish it, I personally hated the end, without spoilling I'll just say I considered it unfit for the main character.

Omg I've been lied to :( I was merely quoting a buddy off mine who watches a lot of anime and we recently had a convo about it. He said it was from liek the 80s :s. I just looked it up, and you're right indeed :5:

meh after l died it was not worth watch, odd this convo came up really as i have only just gave up on watching it for a second time lasted a whole two more episodes than last time :),

if any one is intrested it may be possible to watch it below, may be possible....

Everyone i know that has seen both the anime and the 'live' one, they all said live was garbage. You gotta watch the real thing
