I attempted to make the Portal Cake this weekend. It was a birthday gift for a very special friend.

Image

It's not perfect, and I would do stuff differently next time, but pretty happy with the result. Tastes great!
16 flakes!
I made this card as well
but the resize hasn't done good things to the smaller graphics and text... meh

She loved it! But the cake is massive, about 11inch diameter and about 6inch tall!

Yes I did, and I stuck a white candle onto the front of the card :) and all the graphics are custom vectors, but some are based off existing graphics from the game, but I remade them so that I could make the whole thing at really high print resolution.

You are completely right Birdie! but tell that to my bank :S

Valve stickers = £10
Box = £5
Candles (had to by 10) = £2.99
Orange Card = £8.99
Glossy Card (100sheets) = £17.99
Ingredients = £30 (lots of excess in case of fuck up)

But it didn't matter, I prefer gifts with some sweat and thought behind it :D
