First off I just want to give all credit to the "Mindcrack" community for actually making it/thinking of it.
(I asked Mbl and he said he'll code this event for us.)

So basically this game acts sort of like "Hunger Games" however with a twist.

You don't regen health, only through golden apples or health potions will you be able to regain health.
So what that means is if you were to take any fall damage/mob damage/player damage/drowning etc that damage will be permanent regardless if you have a full hunger bar. You also only haveone life.

The map that we will be playing on will be closed off by a certain radius which depends on how many players will be joining us. (More players=larger map) Everyone will be randomly teleported around the map at the start to reduce spawn kills and we will try to make them fairly split apart.


I will release more info on this only if people are interested in playing.

Seems legit, but I've never read the series or the movie..it was too mainstream and still is. But I'll still play.

Problem with minecraft is that PvP skill doesn't go a long way, so who wins is fight usually based on who has the most health and maybe lag, so not having health regen is a bad idea I think. If you get into one fight it's certain you will lose your next one unless you meet someone with even less health than you, I can only see that being frustrating rather than challenging.

I've seen the UHC series. Its not all about PVP its more about survival and outlasting the other teams/players. It could be a fun organized event.

love the MineCraft UltraHardcore Series, so yea, this would be fun.

Sure you guys might not like the idea, but this will be something harder that you're not used too.

You have to be extremly careful around mobs and places where you can fall.
You have to know where to find people and when to engage them or not.
You can set traps for people that are trying to get into the Nether.

Ofcourse if you don't enjoy pvp you won't want to play, it's still a ton of fun regardless.

You should try it before saying too much about it. Never know if it'll change your mind.

Well you did ask if people would be interested in playing the mod or not.

I can see the appeal in it, but people's idea of what challenging is differs from player to player. Challenging for me would be finding it very difficult to survive even with health regen, have having zero health regen, not even a little from food just doesn't appeal to me, I would just find it kind of irritating. However food being very scarce would appeal to me, as you would have to find a decent amount of it to regain health anyway.
