When connecting to The SPA servers I regularly get an invalid Steam userID error, followed by a Steam Certificate Length 0/1024 error.
It doesn't happen every time, but it's driving me nuts

Anyone else?

Any solutions?

Cheers

Hi,

unfortunatly this is a steam error. The steam mailing list is crowded with server admins reporting the same problem. Nothing we can fix :(

Doesn't get out much (355)
I got that error a few times, too. Just try to reconnect. No need to restart steam (at least I don't have to).

Thanks, glad it's not just me :)

I guess Steam will be working on it, should be sorted by Christmas
