Once I finally managed to sneak to a safe-ish corner, I couldn’t help but join the fray. There’d been no explanation as to how this server worked, and the only communication between players involved the word ‘retard’. So I presumed mega-death was the done thing here - certainly, that steady stream of disorientated spawnees were fish in a barrel, a Pyro’s wet dream. Stood next to a supply cupboard, with my health and ammo infinitely replenished, I clocked up kill after kill after kill - forever twisting my TF2 stats. In TF2 proper I play a Heavy almost all the time, but my permanent record is now dominated by Pyro points. They’re just numbers, but they make me oddly sad - it’s as though someone’s stamped LIAR on my Steam page.

However, medic achievements are ridiculous. You have to play really bad and annoy the others in order to achieve them. They are really tough too. So farming them is the best solution.

On the other hand, pyro's achievements are way better and more easy. You'll get them by playing as usual and you don't have to earn all the achievements to get the new weapons. I got all the pyro's weapons "legally" unlike the medic's ones

yep same here...sum of the very hard medic ones we're nox &nd me farmin together...coz it's way more better than not healing for example u in a public game coz u aren't a scout who have to kill x enemies for u :S

what;s the point of stats anyway? You want stats to tell you how good you are?
So if you're doing great tactical work but not getting that many frags that means you suck? Stats only account for so little of how good you are in playing games.\
Next to that, tf2 is full of pussy stat whores. Ppl staying on the back, running away every time they feel scared, etc.
You mean those ppl are good? Are great players to play with? Hell no, fuck em, fuck the stats and statwhores, and fuck those stupid achievemnts.
As I already said, I love having new guns, but getting the achievements and how it's cocked up is just plane fucked!
