I don't think anybody outside Valve knows this yet.. most likely it's the engineer.. since that's the only one we have heard valve talk about o:

My predictions, even more ways to get crits.

Can we have a server that is "classic" TF2? Pyro alt fire should stay but all the new weapons can be thrown into the dustbin in my opinion.

the mobile sentry was a bug I think, I doubt the engineer will actually get that ;p

Here is what they'll do with the spy

Revolver, it will get replaced by toxin injector. If you hit someone from behind with this baby it will constantly drain their health by 40 points per second. If you hit them anywhere else the damage will only be 5 damage per second and ramps up to 40 damage per second. Only a medkit can heal this ailment.
Stunknife, you won't be able to backstab anymore but if you hit someone with it they will be stunned for a second or two a hit in the back will have a 4 second stun. Oh and it works on ubered people as well. Deals less damage then the old knife though.
Disguise, gets replaced by advanced stealth you can use your stunknife with this but it will drain your stealth meter by a bit
Sapper, you can swap this out with the supersapper but it will also sap your stealth meter. Supersapper instakills turret though

That good enuff for you? Spy will trade in his range and disguises for a slightly larger stealth meter, and close combat stuff.

I think those are a bit ... not done

I was more thinking of:
Level 2 disguise -> when attacking you will not loose your disguise, however all other things, like burning, still apply to you.

Level 2 Knive -> you can now throw knives, while a back throwed knive will have same effect as a backstab

Level 4 gun -> while it still shoots, crits are not part of the gun anymore, rather they implemet tracking darts, which will give them a speech balloon for all other team members too see.

The disguise thing can't happen, because it has to be different from the old one. This would be the same but 1000000x better, and valve themselves said that the new weapons won't be better just different. Of course they are also liars because most of the new weapons are 100000x better.

I don't think they'll change the sapper or the disguise at all. If you look at the spy's loadout menu, you'll see that anly the knife and the revolver are displayed, and can be changed. My bet is the spy update will be released with another class update, probably as the last.

I think medic guns are far better 'balanced'
Syringe gun gives health, but no criticals
Medigun gives 100% crits, but not invul and vica versa.
Only the ubersaw is ´uber´

As for the pyro gun
The Axe and flaregun are imo very balanced.
Flare gun is good, does lot of damage but slow reload.
Axe does less damange in return of being able to get crits.

however the new pyro gun is not really balanced, you do not have the blast(no had before this) yet you have crits from the back and additional health, which imo makes it an unbalanced gun.

This is just my opinion though.

I think that the train on cp/ctf_well needs a buff. How about giving him 50% extra speed?

What that train needs is crits... and a minigun.

Engineers will get magnetizers (upgrade from dispensers), they allow you to pull all hostile projectiles towards it. Magnetizers have 200 health.

teleporters will now be twoways, meaning you can travel in both directions, however they can also be used by enemies.

Sentryguns will be replaced by "shield link" this "link" protects all nearby teammates with a shieldbubble, directing all enemy fire to the "shield link" tower. "shield link" takes 250 shielded dmg or 100 direct dmg. (shielded dmg does not direct to your magnetizers)

Health points for all buildings are still to be tuned.

I like the idea of the engineer being able to put up energy shields, blocking enemies for a few moments or certain amount of damange. (dunno who of you played Jedi Knight 2, well like the multiplayer shields in that game.

Eeeh, no.
It was an 'inventory item' which you could find on the map, just like the small sentry.
It was quite usefull on a CTF map, to get away and have a little edge when running with the flag on your back.

There are still quite a few 'chat and play duels...' servers up.

Any way, something like this particular shield device might be something nice for the engineer to be able to build that.

Don't know but it was part of JK2..

I have not yet played JK3, and have been looking on several internet shops, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere anymore either...
