I've wanted an iphone for a while, but as O2 seem to want me to be happy to pay £30 for a really poor amount of minutes and texts, and then another £100 for the phone itself I've given up and am sticking with T-mobile. My new HTC Diamond (well MDA Compact IV) will be delivered tomorrow on a free upgrade

I'll miss my HTC Trinity (P3600) but will just have to rely on the new improved touch-flo interface to get me through ...

I got myself a HTC aswell, a touch dual. I really like the hardware, but the windows mobile on it damn... I haven't seen such a buggy piece of software sinds winME!

i upgraded the rom to windows mobile 6 some time ago. A lot more stable, a little prettier but not quite as responsive

HTC Diamond runs windows mobile 6.1 which i don't think is much different, but i've read the touch-flo interface is much better thought out, with all the major applications covered so you rarely have to use the windows interface

I am at 6.1 aswell. Its just general bugs in the OS which annoy the fuck out of me. All kinds of small weird things happening when they shouldn't, or it simply doesn't what you tell it to do etc.

I'm currently keeping my eye on the xda dev's forums, their baking a Andriod version for my phone there, so i might give that a try in the future.

i know what you mean ... how my battery can suddenly drop to 20% without any activity, or how i can't hold a 3g connection when i'm practically sitting under the transmitter

be interesting to see how the phone handles android. here's hoping for a much better thought out user interface than the winmob confusion

just sold a customer the HTC Diamond - he claimed after first week that his full battery was empty after leaving it in the office in stand bye mode over the night ... and that charging in generell is messed up! hopefuly there is no production error on the batteries!

apart from this its's a very nice and good looking MDA - have fun with it!!!
