The Problem is that in my case is no air circulation (Luftzirkulation ^^).
So there is no problem with the video card, only with the cooling.
And i can play on max. settings without any lags or something, like i did since i have tf2 and episode 2.
So i need a good air circulation 2 cool down the hardware.

How can i set the fan speed of the videocard?

Normally the fan controller runs in auto-mode and adjusts itself to the needed speed.

Do you have any fans in the front and/or back of your case for creating a good air flow?

I've never been pleased with how most graphic cards auto-tune their fan speeds, I feel they are to passive. Since you have a ATI radeon card I recommend ATI Tray Tools from Guru3D (http://downloads.guru3d.com/ATI-Tray-To ... d-733.html).
With this program you can set fan-speeds at different temperatures. Try it! I got very positive results with it. You can also activate a little tray icon showing your temp. at all time.

Remember! Since it is a overclocking utility, be careful where you point your mouse ;)

Yeah maybe ill try this.
Yes i have 2 fans. one in the upper back, that push the air out.
The other one is only provisional in the front.

The videocard should regulate its own speed when it gets to hot. If it doesn't, the fan is broken. There isn't really a need to manually change the fan speed.

Depends on the video card. =)

E.g. my 8800GTX was fixed at 60% to last longer. =)

Of course it should regulate its own speed, but sometimes that might just not be enough. And if you think it's getting to hot, why not regulate manually?
When the cards are tested at the production labs they have their own enviroment, and the cards are calibrated with respect to that enviroment. So if you place your computer in a small corner of your room the overall temperature will rise, and it may be favourable to increase the speed manually :)

K I downloaded ATITool. THis Programm is very good imo.
I dont use it for overclocking, just to regulate the fan speed and that works very good.

I just want to chime in with a slightly off topic post here. one post recommended vacuuming, and that is good, but make sure that your fan never starts to spin from the air being pushed around, secure it with a finger or something else. If the fan starts spinning from the suction it can damage the bearings or the motor etc and fuck it up 4 LYFE YO.
