Howdy kids and kidettes. I was in the supermarket today and I saw Soul Calibur IV for sale so I thought to myself, what the hell, let's do this thing. So I purchased it and came home. Obviously. And it's good. I like it.

So anyway I was playing for a while and after completing the game with Kilik, Maxi and Yoda I decided to check out the character creation. And this is what I came up with.





As you can see, he is badass and badassery all rolled into one package. Soon I will take him into battle where I will lay waste to all that would be foolish enough to stand in my way.

I also made this woman warrior. She fights in her bra and pants. Why? Cause I'm a massive pervert, that's why.



Anyway, if anybody else picks up this great brawler and they create a character, let me see them. If they are female characters they must be in bra and pants.

Hah! I actually just purchased this today. Soul Calibur and Soul Calibur 2 are pretty much two of my most favorite games of all time, I'm hoping this is as good as I hope it is.

Have to wait until I get my PS3 (again) though, and my TV... which is in september. Damn.

Also, the glasses guy looks like a final fantasy character. srsly.

Very nice Doomshine. That guy is uber gay.

Sadly I can't take credit for Captain Tickles there, but I like the Soul Calibur games.

I'll probably get it when I eventually buy a PS3.

Yeah, I'm digging the Ken Masters.

I haven't really messed around with it much yet, I've just been playing through as the various characters. I unlocked Vader's Apprentice from the upcoming Force Unleashed and he is superb. I really dig his fighting style so I imagine I'll be taking him online for a showdown sometime in the future.

Plus it's got me kinda hyped for that game as well cause his character is pretty sweet.

How's the lag online? I've heard bad things from people with milliseconds differing etc, and that can play a HUGE fucking part in a fighting game.

I mean, if the timing is off even a bit everything falls apart.

What's that? The brother of Sam Fisher?

As for the on-line, I still haven't played it. I was just about to then I remembered I fucking hate Xbox Live so I didn't.

From what I've heard, people seem to be having different experiences with it. Perfect for some, horrible for others.

okay next time I'm in oslo I'm going to a goth/sex shop to see if I can find one of those, just to make our bar fights a bit more interesting, as I've never tried to use my croutch as a weapon before (just as a baseballbat, which wasn't really that a good idea in retrospective)
