Once again I've had quite a funny idea for a video, and a relatively straightforward one at that. We all get together for a game of TF2 but turn the friendly fire off. Now obviously this would be incredibly annoying but also pretty funny as well for getting people's reactions over the mic's and what not.

Since this is such an easy thing to do I thought we could do it later. It doesn't have to be anything major, just a quick match on one map. Just the idea the frustration of the spamming Demoman and the trigger happy Pyro could extend to your own team I think would make for funny viewing. For entertainment purposes, ya dig?

You know, as long as people aren't just trying to kill their own team. That's just gay.

Anyway, I don't even know if friendly fire can be switched off or not so if it can't then just forget it. Obviously...

Imagine your frustration as once again a friendly Pyro sets you on fire. It'll be absolute chaos everywhere. It should make for quite a good laugh. Either that or the ultra competitive will suffer some kind of mental break and will just start slaughtering everybody and everything.

After many retarded (jab at the topic's title ^^) requests Valve put it back into the game as a normal server variable but setting it to "on" will move you to the "custom" server tab - unless you use some kind of lame SourceMod plugin to hide config changes.

There were a lot of FF on servers back in the beta and although I'm sure it'd be funny as hell for video purposes TF2 simple does NOT work with FF on... It's not the way it's meant to be played which is why TF2 designers were reluctant to include such an option in the first place.
Funnily enough there were lots of FF on servers when Valve hid the setting but now there are hardly any at all. Just goes to show that some people only want to be jackasses and fight for "their freedom to do something" no matter how retarded it is. ;-)
I'd recommend mp_friendlyfire 1...

P.S. McMoist - don't you remember how I turned FF on for a while to blow up Mint while we were playing on GD_concmap_v3? Or weren't you on the server at that moment?
