Nice vid - indeed the airblast is something that needs to be mastered. It's funny how people start realizing its usefulness only after Valve nerfed the backburner. ;-)

nice video, the text has low readability though, and since it's hard to read it scrolls by a little too fast.

Good video. I can say that I love the airblast simply because it's such a useful ability for the flamethrower not only for the player but also for the team.

I am a blatst pro, I dont need this guide, but still usefull for those who dont know what they can do with it, for example blast an ubered hevay untill the uber is over, and the heavy did no dmg.

The thing is the +50 health on the backburner just made it leaps and bounds better. The normal one was only usefull for countering ubers.

Depends on the situation, IMHO. If there are a lot of open spaces and not many ambush-from-behind opportunities I would go with the normal Flamethrower. If you're playing on a complicated map (e.g. on our Custom Map Server ^^) and expect to bump into clueless people all the time then use the Backburner. This is how I make cp_science2 an even more frustrating experience for first-time players. ;-)

P.S. Of course you can switch loadouts very quickly anyway if you're using my scripts. =)

Ive been trying to learn how to use compression blast effectively for a while now so this helps a little

I really gotta get into that. So far the only reflex I have is backing off while dodging rockets, which rarely does any good.
But damn, that compression blast is crazy expensive...
