since everything is so hot, check that your computer isn't clogged with dust. if it is either spray it with canned air (best) or vacuum it (not as good). Make sure to secure fans before you do it since you don't want them to start spinning form the airflow since it can damage the bearings.

Have you moved it around a lot? The thermal paste between the heatsinks and the cpu, gpu etc could have become cracked. If so you need to remove the heatsink, clean with isopropyl alchohol thoroughly and then reapply paste.

If you do that it will take about a week or two for the thermal paste to settle, so you won't get optimum cooling during that time.

IF that is the problem. Allthough the PSU shouldn't suffer from that.

What's your setup? 60°C could be a regular idle temperature for newer cards.

removed the gfx cooler, removed the thermal pads on the rams, used like a tube of arctic silver 5 on them and the gpu
had nothing else to remove the old pasta with, so i used paper, whatever

you know, the more thermal paste you use the worse it is. you know that right? It's just there to fix the unevenness of the surfaces, it doesn't offer as good heat transfer as surface to surface. It's just a necessary evil, so to speak.

Optimally you shouldn't have more than dot the size of a grain of rice on an area the size of the newer intel cpu's (the "grain" should of course be spread out as per usual).

A tube of thermal paste sounds... bad, especially if you cleaned with just paper. haha. glad it works anyway...

yes, but i needed to use a bit more on the rams thought, to get contact between them an the cooler

Haha! At first I read that as "spray it with canned hair"

Which would probably make the clogging problem worse to be fair...
