I defended my PhD Thesis on Thursday (for 3 hours 20 minutes) and passed so I am now officially a Dr. :4 (like Dr McMoist and Dr Bob :wink: )

I don't think I will be changing my name to [SpA]DrNutty82uk but I am well happy and ready for some TF2'ing (who says playing team fortress 2 all day while writing up work and reading doesn't get you anywhere :lol: )

Anyhow - Congrats "Doctor!" Now you can spend a lifetime of listening to people's medical problems whilst trying to explain you are not that kind of doctor :)

Congratz m8, I hope to be able to say the same in a couple of years, hope te be starting my bachelor project next year september, after that I will start my master psychology.

My PhD is in Biochemistry/Genetics, a bit of my 4 year project was researching potential cancer drugs and their binding effects

Hope that all goes well then mate, my girlfriend has a degree in psychology/philosophy...lots of stats involved in psychology (t-test, significance, ANOVA) so good luck with that...you will need some large stocks of weed to get through that :mrgreen:

only have to do my last exam of statistics. For the rest I'll be doing some research and stuff, but that's a whole different thing then an exam.

Btw, i know a girl who's doing research in the same subject you did your thesis in. She's working on new cancer medicins and such.
