Aren't those requirements "a bit " too high for a old graphics engine ?

If the MP is anything like the one of the original it's gonna be nothing but a gimmick to put on the retail box description that doesn't even come close to the fun of the singleplayer game.

is it massive? how many players can join a server? Do you reckon ppl can host a server for it or is it the same with hosting bf2? You have to hire a service instead of dealing with your own hardware and software installation and such.

The minimum requirements are the same as Shadow of Chernobyl. The recommended are a little higher because of the new DX9 and DX10 features.

7 / 10

Apparently if you wanna run the improved Graphics/Lighting, a top end current gen card isn't enough to do it at large monitor resolution (1680x1050 and above).

I'm actually dissappointed reading the review, I was gonna buy this on Friday and was quite looking forward to it, even though I barely played STALKER:SOC... Now I'm definately putting my money towards SPORE(tm) instead!!! :P

It's tense and ominous first time around, but from thereon in it's just miserable trudging to a nearby shack and then standing still for three or four minutes. By the third time one happens it's nothing more than a massive annoyance, forcing you to drop whatever you're doing and go do nothing instead. Nice idea, miserable implementation.

What, everyone loved Blowouts in Oblivion Lost. Clearly the reviewer does not know what the hell he's talking about.

All the reviews (from other sites aswell, and one from a REALLY well respected and good taste journo (Kieron Gillen)) are starting to come in, and every one of them says it's dissapointing and not as good as the original...

I also WANTED to like this, DrBob, but you can't argue that a turd with tinsel on it is a christmas tree - it's not, it's still just a turd with tinsel on it.....

These are people that loved the first one, yet they say this isn't as good - I'm not sure WHY you're arguing with that when you haven't played the game? :S

Damn I loved Shadow of CHernobyl and now I love Clear Sky even more ...... when it works. I've never seen such a buggy game ever, just about everything has a problem with it.

If your thinking of getting it then wait a month or so till some more patches have come out, right now it's an exercise in futitlity to try and complete the game. Not that that will stop me trying, though if they don't fix the issue of having to resart the game everytime you patch it'll get even more frustrating.

I haven't encountered any game-breaking bugs. My game already had the 1.5.1 patch.
