I always wonder why ninja's are depicted with the samurai's katana.. why not use the smaller Wakizashi or Tanto? (Though those two are for the samurai too...)

I found the first one to be OK - it was a good reviving of the swashbuckling genre. The sequels were quite awful, though - rehashing everything that was also seen in the first title and showing moar (not more =) of everything.
