Alright lads, I need to know from you guys what game you are prepared to buy or thinking of buying.
At this point, we have some ideas about which games are potentially cool, they're discussed in this topic : http://forum.specialattack.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3860
This topic is solely meant for ppl to let us know what games you are thinking of buying so we can see if there are enough ppl to get a server going.
As L4d , NS2, BIA3 are not massive single players, we won't reach the majority of gamers. For this to work then, we need ppl from our community who want a server to play on it with their friends/member friends, etc.
If you'd like a game added to the list, plz feel free to add it to the poll or ask me to add it.
Plz discuss here if you'd buy the game if we would host it, if you are gonna buy the game anyway, no matter what, if you're thinking of buying the game but you are not sure.

I'm not so sure about l4d, it looks more like a game i'd like to play coop on console.
All the others look cool to me to buy and play it with our members and community members , but mostly I'm a BF2 , COD , BIA3 kinda dude. Love those games :mrgreen:

As far as maybe's go the only game I'd think about buying is COD5. Brothers in Arms just looks like shit. Have you seen the cut scenes? The characters look like fucking Thunderbirds.

I just plan on getting L4D :skull: :fright: , and I'm not too sure about Brothers In Arms. I'd gladly buy Far Cry 2 or CoD 6 if I had a better computer. :(

L4D will probably be only pc purchase this autumn - mainly because valve games works well on my rubbish rig ( which cant run tf2 on high ;) ). I will consider buying FC2 on x360, right next to GoW 2, Fifa09 or Mirrors Edge.

L4D looks awesome, worried about the 4 player co op action though, me + 3 randomers, great team work!

But friends/members whateve it would be good.

i'll get CoD5 if reviews come in good.

You just needed to look up some (not very favorable) reviews. Or don't you trust video game critics? :-D

By the way - I keep wondering if by "CoD 5" you mean "Call of Duty: World at War" or some future title - you know, CoD 4 is CoD 4 but the series seems to be inclined to enter the numbering hell since World at War is the fifth installment BUT doesn't officially bear a number and is actually based on the same engine as CoD 4. ^^

Everyone is also saying it is made by the same people who made CoD 3 so it is destined to be awful. :?

That is so, but treyarch (i think it's written like this) does know the coments of cod3. They are now ahead in time, both the ones who are ordering the game to be made and the developer know the coments and will do their best to not make the same mistakes and incorporate as much good from cod4 as they can.
There's only one possibility but trying it out yourself, that has always been the best way to see if a game will work for you or not. For me, I'm very excited with the coming of COD world at war and am very curious how it'll be, I'll keep my hopes up high and hope they won't be proven wrong. If it resembles COD4 in greatness and with a positive chance it would be even greater then COD4, I'd be totally happy :mrgreen: Massive succesful multiplayer, all kinds of game modes, etc. I'd be thrilled if this is a succes :mrgreen: If not, we just have to keep on looking. Farcry 2 has also very high hopes over here :4

Played CoD:WaW multiplayer beta for few hours - it's ideal copy of cod4 with of course new sceneries and weapons - but game model, modes perk system etc. is identical. Oh and theres a tank on one of 3 beta maps :twisted:

Brothers In Arms isn't that bad, played on the PS3 and meh.
Wish I had a 360 to play the Beta of CoD 5 (lol, I even got a beta code randomly from their site) :(
