Good Sir.
This Ho-Oh card is different to ur previous Ho-Oh card.
The first one is with Divine Flame the second one is Dive Bomb.
The first one forced me to pick new cards.
The second one, also u flipped head, does 90 dmg to me, but these 90 dmg are not relevant to the cards.
Maybe next time u should have read before u post.
I still win. :18

Except that I stole the first one from your deck and the second one I actually own. Because you also stole my queen. Twice.

Also 90dmg is relevant and goes against all cards (damage dealt stacks). It is dealt to cards with lowest HP to cards with highest hp.

I hit 8 by 8, 8 is down, 82 hitpoints left.
I hit 9 by 9, 9 is down, 73 hitpoints left.
I hit 10 by 10, 10 is down, 63 hitpoints left.
I hit jack by 11, jack is down, 52 hitpoints left.
I hit queen by 12, queen is down, 40 hitpoints left.

All fair and square. Except for 40 of which square root is 6.32something and not a natural number.

I rest my deck.

Hell - now even I don't know what you're talking about although I'm pretty sure that any "Ho-Oh" would be long dead before being able to power up their main attack if facing my Scythers, Electabuzzes or Hitmonchans (also Magmars in a variation of the deck). :-P

90 HP? That's precisely two turns for my Scyther if you do a Sword Dance in the first turn and play a double colorless energy in the second one. :-P
Although I know that they aren't tournament legal cards anymore. ^^

Scyther, I choose you! :-D

Except that scyther is grass and weak to fire and Ho-oh's attack would blow him to bits even with -20 resistance.

The Necromancer (4970)
The point here being that Ho-Oh wouldn't even be able to attack before my Pokemon began tearing yours to shreds since the version you posted requires 5 fire to attack with full power (read: at least 5 turns) and the attack for 3 energy (still a turn AFTER Scyther is fully charged) ignores weaknesses and resistances. If I were to adapt to a deck like yours with Energy Removals and Gusts of Wind (to always bring e.g. your Ho-Oh into the fight before he was charged and mind you, he has a retreat cost of 2 energy) I doubt that you would last long enough to see a 5 energy Pokemon fully charged. =)

That's the concept of the Haymaker deck - hit early, hot quickly, hit hard, don't give the enemy time to unfold his/her strategy. ^^

Here's what my deck consists of:

Pokemon:
Scyther x4
Hitmonchan x4
Electabuzz x4

Trainer cards:
Bill x4
Professor Oak x4
Pokemon Trader x4
Item Finder x3
Computer Search x3
Gold Berry x4
Nightly Garbage Run x4

Energy:
Double Colorless Energy x4
Fighting Energy x8
Lightning Energy x6
Grass Energy (ha, ha) x4

Sideboard:
Magmar
Gust of Wind
Energy Removal (against Ho-Oh and the likes, har, har)
Fire Energy
Additional Item Finder and Computer Search

As you'll surely realize with that amount of Professor Oaks, Bills, Item Finders, Computer Searches, Pokemon Traders and Nightly Garbage Runs I ALWAYS have the cards I'm looking for on my hand and am able to retrieve them from the discard pile as well should the need arise - virtually 0 randomness in this deck. ^^

I haven't lost a single game with the haymaker deck while it was still legal - mainly because nobody thought about including any kind of "blocker" Pokemon like Chansey into their deck (this would stall my attacks until the enemy evolved their Pokemon) and insisted on big, powerful, hard-hitting and energy-consuming Pokemon like e.g. that Ho-Oh of yours instead - this path leads straight to failure. :-D

Pokemon ruuuule! :-P
At least in the collectible card game version where you could relatively cheaply construct a deck to own all those poor clueless kids on tournaments. :-D
Oh yes, owning little children makes one look SO COOL! Wait... ;-)

Ha, ha - the generation gap becomes apparent. I too use a nickname from a CCG but it's from Magic the Gathering, the older editions even. :-P
