the mirrors edge demo is out on XBL and PSN

downloaded it for my ps3 and i have to say it's brilliant fun.

I'm poor so maybe not a must buy at the moment

(LEFT 4 DEAD PLZTHNX)

but definately a buy in the future, unless reviews tell me there is something wrong with the rest of the game lol.

Played the demo on PS3 too, and was really not bad.
Very smooth acrobatic gameplay.
Demo was a bit short though! :mrgreen:

Anyone tried the time trial?

I think it was bad decision of them to lock the time trial. I managed to get a code for it and it can be really addictive!

I haven't checked in a couple of days but I was ranked 9 the last time I checked.

Ah, but what about the lenght of the game? I heard it takes ~5h to complete :| However demo was pretty fun but... easy.

I read on some french site that story mode was around 12h.
But they also said that some rumours are going around that this time was artificially extended by placing difficult or even unfair passages.
Eurogamer also has a review of the game atm, didn't bother to read it though! :wink:

Eurogamer review noted that it is pretty short.

I'll hold off till a price drop.

wow, at first I hoped it will be like that ass-kicking wipeout with LOW price :(
btw. wipeout hd ftw :)

I'm tempted by it, but it only has 6 tracks? Ok you play them in reverse too, woaaah!

A graphical achievement running at 1080p at 60FPS, but still.. hmm... still tempting at such a low price.

I agree with Crovax tbh, waiting for price drop!

8 tracks regular + 8 reverse (totally different experience) :) Also, there will be new track avaible to download at some point.
The thing is it's best to play with a buddy, so if you're all alone then it's not that much fun. And really, it's like TF2 - at first you got only a few maps but it was FUN. Same thing here.
