If you were waiting for a price drop for Mirrors Edge, get yourself down to Tescos (UK) and it's only 20 pounds, for both ps3 and 360 which is good! Not sure how long the offer is for though.

Red Alert 3 (PC) is for this week only £14.71p too, if you're interested.

Don't have a 360 or a PS3 but the game looks quite good. :P The Tecos near me doesn't seem to sell games anyway. :?

So Greasy changed my post just because I made a joke about his empire.
Well, if you can't accept the truth, so be it. :demm:

Not so much an empire anymore, more a franchise.

Nah I just think its a bit pointless if he says a) its in tescos - a primarily UK based company and b) it in pounds for someone to turn around and moan about the fact its not in euros. If you are paying in euros then the likelyhood is u wont be getting the deal! So no need to up your own postcount and try and upset every british person here ...

We dont turn round and moan about how you all smell like cattle and eat stupid cheeses, so in turn we like it if people dont moan about our choice of currency.

Of course I know that the original post was directed at our UK members! I just made a joke about the island mentality of the UK. That has nothing to do with any stupid stereotypes you are referring to, but is simply the way it is.
And you're right, every British person in here should be upset when they get reminded of how convenient it is having a currency that is valid in more than one country.

Don't ever edit my post like that again, if you want to make fun of a post, then (mis)quote it, but don't edit it.

Jesus Mike. You see what happens when you mention the pound or franchises from the UK in this forum!? You drive a rift between long time members!

I hope you learnt your lesson cause quite frankly, I can't take it to see this sort of thing going on. Please don't let it happen again Mike otherwise I will be forced to come to your home and smash your skull in with a crowbar. And I really don't want to do that cause NOT only do I like you as a person but the fact I've just threatened you here will mean I will most certainly be caught and convicted for my crime when I follow through.

Now on a completely separate and unrelated note folks, head on down to Woolworths which thanks to the current worldwide economic shit storm is closing down forever

If you head on down there now you can pick up everything 50% off, that's right 50% off. That means you could pick up the newly released Dark Knight DVD for £7.50 (If it's still there) a Nintendo DS for £50 (You'll be bloody lucky) or a 42" LCD TV for £270 (You don't have a snowball's chance in hell!)

Goodbye Woolworths. We'll miss you (We won't... we really won't)

The birth of woolworths....

"People need things from different shops... however if we gather a list of all those things .... sell the more useless ones all in one place AND make them ugly, expensive and plastic we will become rich beyond our wildest dreams!"

Need a bin with 3 legs and a revolving flap - Woolworths!
Need the latest in Picture frame technology? no? head to woolworths!
Pic and Mix from your local sweet shop? ...but get it when your picking up your wickerbasket model 5 from WoolWorths!

or... just go on the internet and not leave your desk! hurrah for thought!

Last time i went in only woolies brand stuff was 50%, the rest were 10%.

Next time i go in all i want is a large tub of pick and mix, before it's.. too late...

BTW IF EUROPE WANTS A EU CIVIL WAR, lock topic quick.
