So i'm wondering, how do you get a smooth mouse motion? Like graphics designers? my mouse is fine in vertical or horizontal, can move in straight lines no problem, but going diagonal is very hard to make it straight.

This is effecting my aiming or maybe i'm just being picky but if i could smooth this shizzle out, i could aim better and more accurate, at the moment i'm often just missing because my mouse isn't smooth enough.

I'm using a RAZER Copperhead, no mouse mat just on a wooden desk.

Recommend... Mouse mat?
In game I use default sensitivity with mouse filter turned on. It's not smooth though, not really. Wonder if my mouse is sticking to the table a tiny bit.

Anyway suggestions?

Well, there's your problem.

Yes.

Can't really give any advice at all, my mouse mat is complete and utter crap (along with my mouse). :?

I'm using my copperhead on a flat, single color surface.

If you need a mat, go for a big one, not just for a sqare foot piece of shit. My 2 cents.

Some guy in a LAN Cafe tried to sell me a gaming mat when I was buying my mouse.

I told him to stick it up his arse. I'm not paying 30 notes for a glorified mouse mat. I'll stick with my ripped up sheet of A4 paper.

Just get a standard mousemat from the shop, can't really recommend a brand as I forget what mine is. :P

Buy a Logitech G5 and you really don't need any mousemat.

Buy either this: http://www.steelseries.com/int/products ... nformation

or this:

http://www.steelseries.com/int/products/surfaces/ss

I got both of em, but i prefer QCK and it's much cheaper than S&S... I'm using QCK with g5 and S&S with deathadder...

I've got a razor thing, I guess it helps but I notice the difference most when in photoshop/illustrator.

Logitech G9 has improved my scouting and sniping quite a bit ;) Still getting used to it as soldier but its a lot better than my old laggy one. Also the logitech set point software is very intuitive and customisable.

Logitech rules big time idd! Best keyboards and mouses in the world I think, software works amazingly good with windows. In combination with a nice steel series mouse mat or the razer exactmat X speed is ideal for gaming.

I've just ordered the Logitech G11 keyboard and Razer Deathadder mouse+destructor mouse pad. Can't wait! *jumps up and down excited*

Oh, yeah, and A MIC!! Well, I already have one but I need one that doesn't make my voice sound like a horny ram. Too bad the post is on holliday too but soon enough I'll be spamming the voice chat with singalongs.
