Today i saw my internet is being upgraded. First upgrade starts in Q2 this year between april and june, and the second is in Q1 2010.

(The speeds are Mbits/sec)

Yeah but you live in the country. You're lucky you don't have to use dial-up.

Frankly, the only way I'd live out in the sticks, is if I was rich enough to afford some kind of satellite internet at 50 Mbps minimum. Cause I'd be rich. And you get what you pay for.

I'm not rich though. And that's why I live amongst the scum and the villainy.

Don't know who your isp is, but with plusnet I was on an 8Meg account and was always sub 2Meg. Raised ticket with them, they couldn't find anything "wrong", told me to do lots of things at my end but "mysteriously" my current line speed of 2000 reported on their website changed to 6500 and now I run at 6Meg. Maybe worth getting your isp to check out your connection/their settings.

As for Saint's connection - wtf! (Nice one)

Bah, I have 18Mb download and 1Mb on Upload (yay -.- ) and my aunt pays 30-35 Euros for it. I want some of your internet lol

I am pretty sure that my ISP will upgrade the speed, but nah.

50mbits, pffft...

100mbits is standard in Sweden.

1000mbit was standard in the area I lived in 3 years ago (Trekroner) :(

Well, but as i can see, you don't live in sweden ;). I can tell you that after 1 am i can go downstairs and buy 2 l of pepsi max + 4-5 lechs for that price, but i also do not live in sweden ;]. Just am wondering, if its worth to have so fast internet, if i cannot buy a beer during the night.

At least the swedes don't have to worry about getting their kneecaps shot off, when they go down after a beer at 01.00, because they didn't think ahead and bought it during the day hours :roll:

Thats cool.. Im only on 21/3 atm :( hopefully UK will get their asses into gear Virgin have a 50/5 service in some places but they want a small fortune for it.

mine is the same as greasy`s , but its an average over the month , so for 3 days i get bout 400 , and for the rest i get bout 0.1
