I've played the demo earlier, and have to say I'm kinda disappointed...
Graphics are awesome, no doubt, but gameplay...meh, really old.
You'll see for yourself.
Don't know if I'll buy it now...

glad that i have like 5 different accounts and don't need the german store at all

the game itself looks good, nothing more, nothing less ( i was expecting better graphics) *is waiting for killzone 2*
gameplay is, like you said, kinda old school, no walking around while aiming (which is resident evil standard) just don't feels good nowadays, especially after the awesome dead space
the co-op thing is cool, but playing singleplayer with ai controlled sheva is lame tbh (not only that you have to save your ass, you also have to save hers way too much)
the enemy ai also feels not that good (enemies running towards you just to slow down before they reach you??? weird )

and the controls, jeeeesus, what a crap, aiming with the left stick??? *looks at his bored-to-death right thumb while aiming*

i'm really thinking of cancelling my pre-order, i was expecting way more than this is right now and i doubt that there will be much changes to the final game

The AI is way too crappy...
Guess no RE5 for me then.
As you mentioned Killzone 2, the demo is coming out this thursday! Can't wait!
But you probably know already!

Played a demo on 360 and was very dissapointed - graphics are good, but everything else feels just like re4 - sounds, dissapearing bodies, and controls are just not acceptable in 2009.

yeah, hopefully not the next disappointment

oh, btw, you can aim with the right stick in re5, just select control style d in options menu
this way it feels much better but still too old-school imo

i bought 2 of'em last week and these triggers are such a great extension to that crappy L2/R2 buttons
no more finger slipping of that buttons and when you play games where you have to hold'em down (racing games for example) it feels so much better, you never gonna want to play without'em

Hm, I don't think Killzone will be a disappointment at all, just have a look at all the reviews!

As for the triggers, I've thought about buying those...but I never really had a problem with the original ones either.
Hm, we'll see!

Oh yeah, with the standard controls I can aim with the right stick, at least I changed nothing in the controller options (except inverting Y-axis).
But still, controls just don't feel intuitive and smooth.

Playing backup games on console is the worst thing in the world - once i had ps2 and had tons of games burned, so i couldnt finish 90% of them. Now I prefer to have 3-4 games at time and enjoy them a lot.
