So uh, I'm planning to do a bicycle hike from Sweden to Málaga (Spain), where I will travel through Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, France and Spain. Any of you guys interested in having a beer? (It's still a year or so away, just trying to roughly calculate where I'm going, and the route there.)

HAHAHA, gotta love that post! <3<3

Well, if you really do it, it can be a really great experience.
But man that will be tough...
The longest distance I travelled on a bycicle in one day was ~190km.
Now imagine doing this for two weeks or so...
But I believe in you! :D

Oh btw, i'd include Belgium aswell in your trip if i were you! It's rather difficult to go from Netherlands to France without crossing Belgium, unless you have a water bike! In that case, you could directly visit the UK aswell

So nice to see that there was people willing to get crunked!

Obv the route isn't quite worked out yet.

Here's a translated version of the plan as it is right now...

You'll have to excuse the rather lazy approach to translating it, I'm still hung over since uh this morning...

and for it being 3000 km or so, it's not really a problem. 3000 km while moving at about 15-20km 5h/day makes for about 60 days or so, which isn't really all that. :P

That's what I loved about Soviet Russia. Even when stuff was brand new it still looked like old worthless crap.

The distance is do-able. A friend of mine is in the organization that is organizing same sort of trip on a bike. They planned to start in the Netherlands and drive all the way to somewhere in Africa. Goal: Get as many sponsors as possible to get money from to support the poor parts in the world :D
