Just saw news on steam, some guys did it with very little budget and a lot homemade stuff, inspired of course by HL2 resistance in City 17

The Necromancer (4970)
Awesome - really has a "movie feel" to it - reminds me of Ryan vs Dorkman 1 and 2 (especially 2). Just goes to show what you can do these days if you're ambitious enough.

That's actually amazing, if they got some valve sponsorship and they had really good Combine costumes it really could be a huge hit.

Maybe they will receive some support from Valve, I mean that movie was advertised using steam news system.

The Necromancer (4970)
About the feature length movie; would you really like to see it?
Seriously - the project is awesome for something made on a budget of $500 but it would suck at full length... The acting is bad, the script as well... I mean - c'mon - let's enjoy it for what it is: an awesome fan film. Remember how all the other video-game based movies turned out...

Well - this was the only good joke in the movie - besides Van Damme's epic speech of course. :-D

I remember I watched it at the cinema when I was a kid. I came out punching and kicking in the air, including the death triangle move or w/e it's called. :D:D
