I jizzed in my pants

Spies can now control which weapon the enemy team sees them holding. Hitting the "last disguise" key while disguised updates the disguise to show the Spy's currently held weapon


Changed backstab handling to fix facestabs

Spies disguised as enemy team can now see player IDs for enemies

It seems to me, that the scout update was really the spy update in disguise! :demm:

If you point at a teammate, you will see his name displayed on the HUD. The spy will see the names of the enemies now too. This will make it easier for him to identify certain targets.

Yeah it is easy, kinda boring too at times. lol.

Earlier no engis about all i had to do was kill peeps, got boring, i was riding high on my team (first infact for first half) but it's just, it was challenging (cp_well), it's a lot more fun when you've got engis to stab and sap.

Today boys and girls, I have a statement to declare,

it's going to be awkward, BUT nevertheless I will say this.

Today, on this glorious day that God in his infinite wisdom has reached into his pocket and took out some magic dust, WITH which he sprinkled all over the planet earth and eventually ended up as a Spy update,

and this is when it gets awkward.

I jeezed my pants when I stabbed Unity for the first time with the quicked animation today... that's right, it was so damn outrageable AWESOME that I ... Mint... Jeezed my pants when using it....

Stab now is awesome, cause you never miss when youre right behind enemy ( should've been like that since the beggining ). And how you change disguised weapon ? Lastdisguise doesnt work for me.

I heard spies can see the health of enemy players now, seriously wtf? They can see somone with 1-20 hp and simply shoot him with the revolver. That is too imba. :|
Way too many improvements, faster backstab, switching weapons/health and see enemies health. Is this the spy update or what. :(

the weapon mirrors what weapon you're wielding, e.g you have your main weapon (pistol) and press the last disguise it then changes to the disguised class's main weapon, e.g minigun, you change to sapper and presses last disguise it then changes to shotgun etc etc...

took me some time to figure it out, but hell.. I got there

one thing I noticed too, since you probably noticed today bartg, I kept killing you. handy advice, when you're disguised you can "see" the enemy cloaked spies, although you can't really see him, you can see his nametag and health, which is pretty handy :P and probably a bug

Its just what spy need to be competitive, not only situation based stab->cloak->run. And its not that he is so overpowered now, its harder to spot with his ability to change weapons, its still very vulnerable against focused people.
Mint: I hope its a bug :|

another problem I've noticed with this, is that my keyboard setup changes everytime I change map, so my last disguise button resets to.. uhm.. nothing, and I have to change this every time, which is rather annoying, but seriously, who thinks a scout with a bat is a spy? or a soldier with a shovel is a spy? no one unless you have stolen their name

Yeah, I was surprised to find that I was disguised as a Pyro with a flame axe today. I was able to get a couple of back stabs easy.

And yes, the new back stab is quite, quite brilliant.

I think if I ran around as a Medic with an Ubersaw I could really reap havoc. At least until people become used to it again.

People will get used to it, but its awesome update, cause its no more "Hey this guy has 70% health and his primary weapon out, lets spy check him", now even medic disguise can be usefull :mrgreen:
