I don't think this is only a matter of changing the map - like SaintK said it's a proprietary plugin that regulates the gameplay. Otherwise you'd have the map in your maps folder the very moment you join the server. :-P

P.S. :-* for labeling the no-crit server properly now.

As far as I can tell all three bball servers are doing quite well :D
So one shouldn't be replaced, just add a whole new server for this awesomeness~

Its boring. The rockets are way too slow for such a big map. If the map would be smaller or the rockets faster then it would be fun.

Nah, the rockets are OK - they start out slow and then get faster with each bounce, which guarantees that the better team will win. Since the rockets always hit there are only two possibilities - either it hits someone despite being slow or speeds up - from a gameplay standpoint it's a win-win situation. There's also more than one map (two, if I'm not mistaken).

However, this is just a curiosity item to me - kinda like bball - fun for 15 minutes, then you return to the regular game. ^^

BTW - if there's anything to be learned from the guys who run this server then it's their "subscriber" features (kinda like our SpA-points). They give people customizable hats! Now THAT would be an awesome feature since it's so visual - everybody keeps asking how to get a hat like this (e.g. bunny ears).

Using stickies to kill is so annoying on a bball server, kind of defeats the aiming part of it :cry: Demomen are fine if you just use pipe bombs to kill and stickies solely for jumping.

futari , as far as i know for a new server , you have to pay . Can you pay for a new one ? i think without one of the bballs there would be no problem :o

Indeed. And we have invested heavily a while ago in our hardware meaning we still have plenty of room to (almost double) the amount of servers we have.

On topic, i've spoken to the dude, the plugin will remain private for now, maybe in the future we'll see a pub release.

Really fun plugin, uses arena mode though.

The server it's on is pretty lame tbh, 33 slots, 9 people sitting out.
