Has no REAL life! (4896)
Yesterday, my LG TV, which I've had for over three years now, died. I awoke from my slumber and tried to turn it on for some Grand Theft Auto and was hurt to see that it no longer wished to function. This sucks cause I loved that TV. It was my monitor as well which double sucks. So I got drunk last night and now I'm in my mates house bogarting his PC. Got to fill that void somehow.

What I admire about it is that it never showed any signs of being close to death. It just died. I spent all day Thursday editing and it was going good guns. And then..... death. In a lot of ways it's kind of like a Guinea Pig. It's death was sudden. Not like Hamster's. I've had Hamsters that get old. All their hair falls out. Their back legs stop working. They're probably blind. I can't stand it when they get like that. All you want is for them to die, put them out of their misery. Plus when you touch their bald little bodies it feels like you're touching a scrotum. Guinea Pigs on the other hand can be munching on carrots and making Guinea Pig noises one day, and stiff as a board the next. They stay furry to the very end.

So here's to my LG TV. You stayed furry to the very end.

I get the creepy feeling that your old LG is the exact same make as the one I'm staring at right now

if so, it is a fine monitor. RIP indeed

Well here's some rather decent news. I went to Comet today and was able to pick up a monitor to replace my dead telly.

Again, it's an LG. 22 inch this time. And because it is actually a monitor I can have much higher resolutions than I could before so that's nice. That makes up for the decrease in actual screen size.
