Well, I am installing BF, usually Downloaded versions need a special patch or whatever. Ima check it out later.

The 1.50 patch is a BETA! It's not yet the full official patch!

Just installed it, and I can't control the cursor when on a game, yet on the menu it works fine. ARGGH. Time to pay a visit to the EA Forums.
