Has no REAL life! (3017)
So, I just saw something that creeped me out and I need your help to indentify what it was. I was sitting on my balcony (4th floor on the top of a hill) having a smoke and I see this..this creature flying in front of me. It looked like a miniature version of the Loch Nest Monster, the size of a well proportioned young city man's palm I'd say. It was also insect like. And it flew by really really slowly while stroking it's smallish wings really really fast. It looked as if it was struggling to keep altitude.
What could it have been? It really creeped me out man. I mean, summer is here and I'm going to sleep with the window open. What if one of those things comes in at night and bites my nose or something.

Maybe it's important in distinguishing the creature's habbits and therefore habitat that I mention this happened around 9.30pm, just at dusk.

If my description is not conclusive then I shall draw a sketch for you guys.

But you see, that's the problem. I was smoking regular cigarettes. If I was high I wouldn't have cared for it. Well, maybe I would've fancied eating it. :>
Anyway, in no way that would've creeped me. I mean, I've seen some amazing stuff while stoned, stuff that makes a miniature insect-like Loch Ness monster look as natural as a fat kid in front of the cholcolaterie window.

I know.
Mindmessing swampgas? :P
Anyway, if you'd scetch it one of us might be able to identify it.
There are a lot of insects though so there's always a chance it's one of those weird ones no-one knows.

Then I shall commit some of the time I *should* spend writing on my diploma project tomorrow to drawing a sketch of this marvelous eerie creature in Paint.

Actually I don't need to draw a sketch because, you see, it looked EXACTLY like the dragon pencil. Well, in posture at least. replace the pencil with Nessie(she is real, don't dare take this dream away from me) and the dragon wings with insect like wings.

Mate you don't have to worry about any of us saying it's not real.

We all believe in Dragon Pencil.

Does your dream sync up with Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon'?

Cause if it doesn't then no... I don't want to hear about it.

You mean Ummagumma, I know you do, because no crone or oz could ever be as eloquent as speaking to you. Though they could hum you a thing or two about any colour you like.

I saw 'The Australian Pink Floyd' a few weeks ago for my 16th birthday; they were awesome (as in, I don't care you like Pink Floyd you just have to go and see them next time they tour Britain), although I noticed that the rest of the crowd was almost entirely middle aged men.

:/

Nah I don't mean Ummagumma.

The Wizard of Oz supposedly sync's up with Dark Side of the Moon. I've watched it through with it playing in the background and... it kinda does in places. It all gets a bit stupid when you have to restart the album. Then I don't think it sync's up.

I suppose it's open to interpretation.

Are your dreams open to interpretation Sebas? And I'll tell you, even if your dreams sync up with Ummagumma, I'm still not interested. It's Dark Side of the Moon or bust buddy. I might be able to be flexible for Relics or Animals but it better be a damned good dream.

Oh, you were serious. I had no ideea about that sync up thing. Sounds like something really cool I could check out when bored though.
Just one question if ya remember, what's playing instead of Follow the yellow brick road?

Ow man, that's awesome. Pink Floyd Experience is coming to Bucharest in June for a gig at a festival but I have my hands full with finishing up stuff at the Uni so I can't go. Would love to though. :<
As for the age thing, it's weird what you're saying. Out of all the bands from the golden days of rock Pink Floyd, Beatles and probably Led Zeppelin are by far the most popular now, with younger audiences.
Only issue would be that most people get into floyd by listening to The Wall and stick with that. :<
