Someone who is uber'd can not cap the CP......yup?

Someone who is uber'd can block the CP from being capped.... ?

Im pretty sure that just happened and find it a tad unfair..or maybe there was someone else on the point that i missed at the time..

Your observations are correct.

Uber as the thing to break the equilibrium prevents any advancement.

It has always been like that and is absolutely balanced and fair and correct.

Or would it be fair to be able to capture a point while being absolutely invincible and raping the defending enemy players?

Or would it be fair to charge and not being able to prevent 5 enemy players attempting a capture (youre in "god-mode" after all) for 10 seconds (10 seconds that your mates may require to respawn and come to the defense line)? Its not like you can charge whenever you want - you have to earn it first ;)

yesh, and it's a pretty important medic stratagy. not all that hard to counter, with pyro airblasts, stickies, rockets...

Speaking of which, I always get cought up in the heat of it all and forget to count. How much does it drain though from the 10s when you dual-uber?

It drains twice as fast AS LONG AS 2 people are ubered. When one Uber wears off, it drains at normal speed again.

Example: You uber player A for 3 seconds, you have 70% charge left. Now you start splitting it, and have 2 players ubered at the same time for 1 second. During that one second, the charge drained by 20% instead of only 10% which it would have if you kept ubering one person. Lets imagine you now keep ubering only one person for the rest (50% charge = 5sec). So you only had 9sec of charge instead of 10. In the worst case (having 2 people ubered during the whole time), you got 5secs of uc.

Hope I made everything unclear :mrgreen:

Logically, it drains 3x as fast during the time you have 3 ppl ubered at once but that rarely happens anyway.

it could just be my imagination, but I was pretty sure it drained faster when you're not healing anyone?

If you uber and dont heal anyone, it drains as fast as if you heal one person.
