I don't think these guys were actually German - perhaps they were Dutchmen making fun of themselves? I gather that from the grammatical mistakes in the writing ("Gebracht zu Ihnen durch den deutschen Touristenausschuss"? Sounds like a typical line translated via a dictionary.). :-P

accually, even if the sealevels wil rise a meter maybe even 2, we will still be dry in holland for 2 reasons:

We are the best dam builders in the world

the water won't rise as much this far to the north, than it will at the equator, because of the spinning of the earth (water will move to the equator)

which means you'll get flooded as the water PASS THROUGH netherlands :P
