Playing online is getting really boring really fast. I've never played against half of the characters available and that's only because EVERYBODY is a flowchart ken or ryu. Jump in and swipe. SRK after. If in distress, d b h.k.
I have found other ways to entertain myself while kicking their asses though, like buffering my ultra into theirs. :mrgreen:

I'll try to get into G2 (G3-B now) faster where I hope people will be more opened to their game tactics (ie actually HAVE ONE).

Well, I've also run across an awesome Ryu, Akuma and Bison(given, I have no ideea what to do in this fight), but they are so rare, gah, I'm really tired of focusing on countering fucking swipes. :(
I mean, c'mon, a simple 3 poke combo does a LOT more damage than a swipe. What annoys me more is that with Rose I can't afford to miss a timer since my gettting-up options are close to zero so I have to swipe back and not take the risk. Doh!

But I've decided to make Dhalsim my second. It's soooo funny to kick jumpmonkeys around. :ugly:

Can pls someone tell me since when blocking low doesnt work against sweeps? >.<
I just lost to some random sweep boxer altough i constantly blocked low....

Oh and btw, how does one actually get a better rank? I'm pretty tired of seeing this G3-E Shit all the time^^

If it's a in a string of jabs you have to move the blocking along with the hits (high-low), otherwise it woun't work.
It could've also been lag.

Nah, just tried it out and was surprised how easy it was (took me not more than 10mins), considering I never played Rose before and will not anytime soon ;S

Yeah, they're not hard. The first hard one though, that's just insane. You have to link two separate combos, ending and starting with the same c.lp. I can do the parts separately but getting them together, man, I can feel the rage.

and btw I have now officially lost all my games against Gouken. I've only had 4 so far but still I have no ideea how to approach the battle. Any tips?

oh lol, according to the tier ranking Gouken is one of the just 3 characters against which I start favourite, with a 6-4. xDxD

Normally I'd say fight him like you would any other Shoto, but since other Shotos are usually Jump-in HK -> Sweep and Wakeup-SRK Guys and the 2 Goukens I metz so far play him in a more tactical way, there probably IS a difference.

One important note would be, dont let him bait you into jumping into him after a hadouken, as you'll usually eat a Shoryuken after that. Try to stay on the ground as much as possible and if theres a projectile flying towards you, jump straight up and dash to him after.

One problem against Gouken is that he can throw 2 fireballs with an EX-Hadouken so the jump straight -> dash tactic doesnt work unless very far away. This will make you block usually which gives him enough time to retreat again. You can of course try a FADC but I always fail with that ;D

On the other hand, I got no idea how to use Rose's moves properly so I cant help you with specific tactics ;/
