the only problem was that somebody deleted the thread before i even had time to see the updated version of the avatar :roll: (wasnt home for a week after i got my "new" avatar if i remeber correct.

as I am too lazy to download anything that could fix it, and even if I did I wouldn't know how, can I request that someone removes the slightly annoying white background of my avatar so that just the face is left?

Without making it look jaggy and taking a while, no.

I'm gonna try VECTOR MAGIC! and see what comes up.

(Here i wanted to insert a picture of Dr. Orpheus saying "STAND BACK AND SHIELD YOUR FRAGILE MIND" but I'm too lazy to find a good scene)

If you could fix me a good 3d head of Bucky O'Hare inside the set up Bam made for the rest of the SpA avatars and it looks good, I would change it, but finding a good hd pic of bucky o'hare is quite impossible. The cartoon is that old that it doesn't exist in high def, so first you'd need a bucky figure that's properly made and painted,then take a picture of that with a proper camera or you need to work from scratch Image and enhance that, gl to that :P
Otherwise, I'm still much too happy with my screamy avatar :4 :mrgreen:

*edit* found one better looking bucky pic right now, but it's still crap, out of focus for it's head, badly painted and needs to be retouched I say :P

That looks like Jazz Jackrabbit. Except he has armor, no headband and fins/wings/flaps at the side of his face.

Well I mean I can try making a 2d version. There's a good pic on wikipedia with a nice "JUST AS PLANNED" face. No promises on shading (yet) though.

Revision 2: The first version (actually the second)

Revision 3: Text is now in front

Revision 4: Added gradient, shadowing, outer glow, removed some leftover junk near ears

Revision 5: Minor adjustments, glow is stronger, added color vibrancy, text in back again

Revision 6: Added insane glow, SPA barely readable, alternate dimension opened. Background rotated to fit the laser (or whatever it is, it's so powerful it glows like... that sword frodo got that detects orcs?) adjusted some effects.

Revision 7: Pretty much reverted to Rev5, added LASERS, changed text effect, adjusted gradient on hare

Revision 9: Laser effect experimentation

Revision 10: Laser modification, added stroke gradient
