This is just a short list of more or less recent series from the top of my head. Though I have to say the order of those shows varies between the different seasons, so it's really hard to say definitively. One thing is sure though: every show on this list is worth watching!

If you like The Office and HIMYM then you should definitively watch Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men also. Also, Parks and Recreations is pretty funny if you like Mockumentaries (like The Office)

Sopranos/The Wire/Curb your Enthusiasm/Madmen/Flight of the Conchords (all HBO)

really? after season 1 I persisted right through seasons 2 and 3, and the downright shit ending to 3 put me off completely. it better be pretty special now to get me back.

LOST. but I never get round to watching any of it.
armstrong and miller show when it's on, but most kinda comedy is cool.

lately been watching it's alway sunny in philadelphia, its decently amusing

stargate universe after pilot was not sure if like but it's been getting better since, also stargate <3
thx for the tips. i watched some two and a half men but the jokes are pretty cheap and the series didnt move anywhere in seven seasons? so that makes it kinda meh
