I was watching that 80's Classic Comedy 'Trading Places' last night, starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd. Now, I'm sure everybody has already seen it already so I won't go into why it's so good. That's not why I'm here anyway.

What brings me here, is that something occurred to me while I was watching. Now, everybody can remember an 80's film with a party in it. There was an absolute fuck load. But what occurred to me is that, at these parties, there are always topless women dancing around. Why is this? Now I've been to a good few parties in my time, but I've never met any girls who had the sudden urge to shed their tops and dance topless. And yet, these 80's movies would have us believe that it's incredibly common.

Now obviously I was born in the 80's, so any parties I've ever been that could have provided such boobage, would have been well into the late 90's, early 00's. I just thought it was funny that I couldn't think of a film made in the 80's, with a party in it, that was over a PG, that didn't have some random chick with her baps out. I guess the girls were just so appreciative of such a great party, that they thought they'd show that appreciation through some nekkidness.

Oh, and while we're on the subject of 80's boobs, I never get tired of Jamie Lee Curtis in 'Trading Places'. In those days she was bordering on Boobular Perfection, I shit thee not.

OK, you've clearly missed the point of this thread. It's not about how many pair of tits I've seen in reality. It's about how many pair's of anonymous tits I've not seen while attending parties. Maybe if I'd been to a party in Holland, I'd see you jumping around with yours out, but it hasn't really happened at any I've been to here. And if we're talking about you, I'm kinda glad about that.

...and in defence to McMoist the 80s was very much like that, I mean there was Benny Hill for a start whom had groups of women running after him topless, so it wasn't just the americans... the 80s was very cheesy in that sense and so was the music, but at least it was laughable and not exploiting in the least. Page 3 ftw!

Actually it all stopped because of the Feminist movement (the third wave). This started in the 1990s and basically turned all the toppless shenanigans into females being exploited, they almost banned Page 3 because of their idiotic, manipulative manner. Yeah I'm all for equal rights but if someone want so show they're boobs then they are their boobs and they can do what they want with them... It's only exploiting if you are not comfortable doing it.
