Hey guys.. I was in your L4D2 special attack server... lots of fun. Someone randomly started a kick vote on me and as fates would have it enough people were sinister enough to vote yes and now im apparently banned from the server??
Either way, if you could be so kind as to unban me that would be sweet. Thanks.

NVM... unbanned. there's a hacker though.

If you get voted out then you're automatically banned for 20 minutes.

I doubt it was a hacker though, if somebody starts a vote and others choose to vote yes then there's not much we can do about that.

What game mode were you in? Campaign, Vs, or maybe one of the 9v9 servers?

I GUARENTEE you it's a hacker. i spec'd him in first person and it was BLATANTLY obvious he was aimbotting. i opened a thread on this subject:

Well you didn't specifically say he was using an aim-bot.

I thought you meant he had kicked you through hacking.

I'll keep an eye out for the guy though, as I'm sure all the admins who play the game regularly will. Incidentally, if he rears his head again, kicking people from games indiscriminately Enderx, get in touch with somebody and hopefully we can stop him from ruining it for anybody else.

Got it. I added you. If I can't get the steam group thing to come up within left 4 dead, how can i connect to the server? for some reason steam group servers won't show up in-game.

You can connect to the server in several ways;

1) Join our steam community group, and in L4D2 choose ‘Steam group servers’ in the L4D2 main menu. In the list search for the “9vs9 SpecialAttack.net :: L4D2 Super” server.

2) Click this link in windows

3) Connect directly using your console: “connect 85.17.60.96:29034”

4) Ask a friend to connect and join trough steam friends.

If a player has issues joining the server you might want to send them an invite or tell them to press ‘join game’ on your steam friends user info.
