Ok the time has come for testing out Battlefield: BC2 before the launch. I have been waiting for the beta forever, and now i WILL try it (after dissapointing attempts to get demo key for PS3). The Beta is set from the 28th of January, til the 25th of February.

u WILL get a beta key if you prepurchase. Other than that, there is a public beta, but there are not unlimited keys

this will either be BF3 or another bad company console port. soooo hoping for the latter

BF3 is a separate game currently in development (rumors go it will support 40 vs 40!). BC2 is a re-write for PC rather then a port according to dice.

Beta starts next week, already got my key from preorder - if beta will suck I will just cancel it Anyone else here got a key ? Hate to play with random pub people

I ordered mine on gram.pl, you dont even have to confirm order to get the key

After logging in scroll main site down, on the left select "Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Edycja Limitowana + udział w beta testach(PC)"
Press "dodaj do koszyka" ( add to basket )
Press "złóż zamowienie" ( make preorded )
Select "za pobraniem
(płatność gotówką przy odbiorze przesyłki)" ( last one in payment options )
Press "przejdz dalej" ( move forward )
Enter random personal details
1) Name
2) Surname
3) Irrelevant just skip
4) street
5) house number
6) skip
7) postal code
City
9) phone number
Select those 2 options

See if evertything is "right", press red button "Zamawiam" ( Order )
Then back to main site, select your profile by clicking your name ( Dzień dobry xxxxx, your name will be underlined ) to go to your profile, PRESS TUTAJ ( listę swoich zamówień znajdziesz tutaj <- tutaj will be underlined", you will see your order and at the end of order name there will be underlined text "pobierz swoj klucz" ( download your beta key ) - press it to download txt file with your beta key.

To cancel your order follow these steps

Finally press red button "Tak, chce anulowac zamowienie" ( yes I want to cancel my order )
- you have your beta key registered to random account with preorder cancelled. See you on the battlefield. If you have any question ask me here/pm/steam.

SP in first Bad Company was brilliant, lets hope they will keep size of the single player maps ( or enlarge them ), cause they gave the campaign very battlefield-ish feel with big vehicle battles and a lot of destruction

Coz if I didn't pay for MW2. So think I'll buy this one and I still a battlefield lover (even I stopd play it with bf 2).

i have preordered it

Game works like shit - every server I tried was lagging like a beach, game itself never stood near the word "optimization", on so they call "low" ( there's no way to set anything else than resolution and high/medium/low, and people says mw2 has not enough options ) game looks like bf2 with 16x16 pixels textures on everything and works like shit on my pc - 20 fps while looking on a wall made of blur texture. Thanks, I'll pass.

I experianced my first crash after 2 minutes

3 crashes in 10 minutes. will try find a solution tomorrow

I crash whenever I look at the server list and the play now thing doesnt work at all.

Yeah i was a bit disappointed but hey it's a beta. Let's hope the final game will be will be a little more optimized.

I like it alot so far (played one map). It is quite buggy thou.

I think DICE (and EA) has underestimated just how many people would preorder the game. I ran a check on one of their servers, located in Paris, and it was running 25 game servers, which is why the game is so laggy.

There are a few things that I want changed before the launch:
1) It should be possible to sprint forward, and strafe to a side at the same time. If this is unintended, then they should make it so that you stop sprinting and start strafing, the second you hit the a or d key.
2) Why, oh why, can't we lie down? I understand that they don't want dolphin-divers, but just make it take longer time to get your weapon, when you go prone.
3) I really don't like the tunnel vision effect on sniper weapons.
4) I miss the pop-up command menu!

Infinite sprint is hmm arcade and great for American kids running around with knife and I know I probably wont play this game - if enemy can survive direct hit from tank/rpg/grenade launcher/grenade/BTR - dont know if this happened because of lag, but I doubt it then... Also there is no real way to tell if you cant kill anything because of horrible lag or something else - there is nothing to show you your ping

I can't believe how bad this game is optimized on a E6420 2,13GHz, 3GB ram and gtx 260 i always get between 15-30 fps on any settings low/medium/high any resolution
