Andres Serrano   For some reason his work popped up in my mind when I saw this... There's probably more similar images if you google around a bit. Fun fact about the above, made from the artist's blood, urine and semen! YAYYY. Like a friday night piece of art. |

the first pics you see, the weird thing of them is that it's actual images from somewhere in the universe, man , you can see aliens there!

Is it true they edit nebula pictures by changing colours so you can actually see the nebula? Btw bucky I noticed you are into some astronomy aswell, shot this photo dunno if uve seen it at irc yet   Shot at 1200mm, I got one at 2600mm too but its blurry, tripod sucks

Anybody heard of the http://www.galaxyzoo.org/ project (now closed although you can still play around with it)? It was friggin' kick-ass - I sat there for several hours classifying galaxies (a total of 1365, not quite 9000 ^^) which I was probably the first human to see (since the photos were taken automatically). Woohoo! Science everybody can do (if you can distinguish between clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation which apparently not many people can ;-).         War of the Worlds:  It's awesome to look even at not enhanced pictures. There must be life somewhere out there even though the law of relativity mean that we will probably never ever meet them (considering the humans will bomb each other to death soon the chance is even smaller :-). |
