If you are looking to change you GPU shortly then you may find this site really useful. Its benchmarks loads of different cards which you can then choose which ones to compare.

I don't like this bench and comparison that much to be honest. It doesn't make it immediately clear if you're dealing with a dual gpu card, single gpu, a single gpu in crossfire/sli or a dual gpu in crossfire/sli.
Ey, if you want quality, just buy the damn hd 4870x2 :P Nvidia sucks :P
The 4870 for that matter rocks as well.
If you're planning on buying a graphics card any time soon, be sure to check more benchmarks, but this could give you a nice start about what the cards score more or less.

Apart from benchmarks, also try best buy guides, especially if you want to buy a new system. Compare several of these guides with the benchmark tests and then create the system of your own.
