So here's the thought, we're planning to make a series of events in different games over the next couple of months,

And in this we need YOUR help, make suggestions to what game you'd like to see events being held in,
be it a Battlefield 2 night, be it a L4D cup, another TF2 SpA vs Community match, or just some crazy street fighter battles.

all ideas are welcome, so far I've got
CS 1.6, CS:S, TF2, Battlefield x, starcraft, smashball, L4D, killing floor, unreal tournament, DoD:S, Warcraft 3. Quake, Natural Selection, Red Alert

the most popular suggestions will be picked and arranged some kind of event.

I'm up for tf2, CSS, Starcraft and SF. I don't own any of the other games mentioned.

Or are we talking about hamachi here? *wink wink*

well it would be better if you actually owned the game, but there wouldn't be much problems with using hamachi when it comes to Starcraft for example, since it's usually a 1on1 game, and there would be recorded a demo so the rest of the guys can watch it :)

We should consider fun mods for the named games. EG I love Warcraft 3 but I would be owned in regular gameplay. Therefore we could think about playing a fun mod for it like those RPG-Strife-Mass NPC Murder thingy (however its called :P)

With the overrated DotA as most known map. :P
I like these maps ( being former chieftain of the official european clan for an AoS map and having helped creating another one :ugly: ).

I'll be organizing another Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike tournament when I have the time. A team tournament with flying start - it will be great. :-D

Ah, and there are still the long overdue Eternal Silence and Dystopia weekends. ^^

We had the cup system set up for the previous Street Fighter Tournament - Blackhawk was nice enough to do it. In the end though it proved too hard to get all the players to sign up and Blackhawk was away or busy on the day the tournament was played and so in the end we did everything manually.

of those games mentioned, I've only got tf2 and l4d, although there are titles there that I might consider buying (particularly warcraft 3, ut2004, maybe battlefield)

if the 8vs8 l4d isn't going to get off the ground, a versus tournament with pre-determined teams would be good fun.

I'm definately up for another SpA vs comm in tf2; I think someone mentioned trying CTF maps last time, and it sounds like a good idea to me. ideas for various cups like the soldier cup have been thrown around already; something like the l4d 4vs4 teams would be my suggestion

other stuff? if it's possible to get something classic like bomberman or micro machines working on the emulators (and support more than single player ofc) that would be most bodacious.

added Quake and Natural Selection to the list.

when it comes to WC3, there's a lot of custom games like AoS and let's not forget Enfo. which is probably one of the best hero survival teamwork games out there.

as I said keep the ideas comming, if you feel like we're missing out on some game or mod then put it in here and we'll have a look at it :)

or if you just like to voice your agreement on something then put it in here too.

If you wanna do something which is cup like... sure... (almost) no problem. Just ignore Lim and listen to demm. ;)

If I know it early enough I can set the needed stuff up... best before I forget again how to manage the system. :ugly:

I can play l4d, tf2 spa vs community ( if so , count me in as a pyro :3 ) and dod:s :4

Anyway , how about 1 game event/week ? ^^

I'd like to see a L4D Versus Tournament.

I think it would be quite interesting if the applicants went through a grading system though, and each team had to have a member of each grade. This would basically decipher their skill level and would encourage more team play, cause the best guys all on the same team would be able to breeze through the maps with their eyes closed.
